Boats and sailing ships both at sea and at the marina have always fascinated me. Not because I enjoy sailing on them (an experience still to come), but their elegant lines and shape capture my attention. The fluid conglomeration of the boating paraphernalia on and around the decks create an interesting opportunity for me to play, to ‘suggest’ the rigging, life-rings and so much more. Placed in front of a spectacular storm-cloudy sky, the drama draws attention with it’s subdued, intensity.
