Bougainvillea Arch

A combination of a light-filed urban landscape with a floral note is a thing of beauty. A small courtyard that I observed while travelling in the Greek Islands brings a delight of discovery. It is the simple style of an arch and pot of flowering plant against the white wall, with the sunlight creating an intriguing pattern of shadows that brings this painting to life.
