 in by choosing random colours to play with\, letting the water guide us as
  we explore the concepts of flow and mixing—essential building blocks of
  watercolour. 10:30 - 11:00Morning Tea 11:00 - 12:30Painting #1 Becoming m
 ore intentional\, we’ll use a wash of two colours to gently set the scen
 e\, infusing this small study with mood and atmosphere. Step 2: Rewetting 
 the area will allow us to introduce a band of trees and their mirrored ref
 lections with stronger colour to complete the painting with balance and ha
 rmony. 12:30 - 1:00Lunch & Chat Take this time to get to know your classma
 tes while also getting answers to your morning session questions. 1:00 - 2
 :30Painting #2 We’ll begin with a flowing\, varied wash to evoke movemen
 t on the sea and gentle ripples. Step 2: Once the paper has dried\, we’l
 l add distant islands on the horizon\, and a simple boat sailing mid-scene
 \, carrying the calm mood of the painting. This part happens while still w
 orking on dry paper. 2:30 - 3:00Recap Q&A This will be your opportunity fo
 r us to consider what we have done during the day\, with the opportunity t
 o clarify what is still a mystery to you. There is no such thing as a sill
 y question. All will be answered to the best of my ability. Roslyn Hartwig
